Andrew is our specialist in wills, probate and estate planning and rest assured you can count on him for a sensitive and balanced approach in all these matters.

With over 35 years as a qualified solicitor and having been with the team since 1982, no-one offers greater depth or breadth of experience. In addition to non-contentious work, Andrew has considerable experience of all aspects of disputes over wills and inheritance. Also Andrew contributes to seminars on wills, trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Not surprisingly Andrew is known amongst his colleagues as a peacekeeper, keeping the good ship Coley & Tilley afloat and helping to steer it smoothly through any potentially troubled waters.

A ‘people person’ is a description that fits Andrew well. He enjoys meeting new people and as a family man takes pleasure in helping to guide his clients through what can be one of the most difficult times of their lives – bereavement.

Andrew is on the ‘Arts’ side with a keen interest in drama, music, art, and antiques. He is also a keen gardener and amateur ornithologist. Both professionally and personally, Andrew is a keen supporter of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists of which he is an Honorary Vice-President

A Midlander born and bred, Andrew is married with three children.
